Visual note taking online

Visual notes help when an idea has relationships, order, or emphasis. A simple browser canvas is enough for quick study notes, planning sketches, and meeting summaries.

Draw relationships, not every sentence

Use circles for ideas, rectangles for categories, and lines for relationships. Keep long explanations in your normal notes app. The drawing should show how things connect.

Use color for meaning

Color is most useful when it has a consistent job. For example, use teal for main points, yellow for reminders, and red only for problems or risks. Too many colors make notes harder to scan.

Export useful notes

When a visual note is useful, save it as a PNG and store it next to the class notes, meeting record, or planning document. This prevents useful sketches from being lost in a temporary browser session.
